Jurgita Šikšnienė

Since 2022, Jurgita Šikšnienė has worked as a Project Manager at Metis Baltic, where she manages R&D&I projects under the Horizon Europe programs. Her role involves overseeing communication and dissemination, preparing deliverables, reporting, and ensuring the seamless implementation of multi-partner EU-funded projects. Since the beginning of her project management career in 2015, Jurgita has developed comprehensive experience managing diverse EU-funded projects and facilitating cross-cultural collaborations across both private and public sectors.

With over nine years of experience in EU and international project environments, including partnerships within and beyond Europe, Jurgita brings strong cultural awareness and refined project management skills. Her expertise is further supported by her PM² Essentials Certification from the European Commission (2023). She also holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in law and management.

Known for her precision and reliability, Jurgita values continuous learning. Outside of work, she is passionate about maintaining her well-being through hiking, yoga, and forest bathing (shinrin-yoku). Her commitment to growth shapes her approach to both her career and personal pursuits.
